The Control Tower Operator is responsible for the correct settlement of all transport orders
As Control Tower Operator you organize logistics and transportation distribution for our client and work closely with carriers to ensure that they have full, accurate and timely information to complete the job.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as liaison to a dedicated client base
- Providing an efficient and cost-effective collection and delivery service by maintaining and using a proper carrier portfolio
- Gathering information regarding collection, deliveries and updating the systems accordingly
- Dealing with and resolving all queries related to incidents e.g. refused loads or damages
- Building a constructive and pleasant relationship with the strategic account and carriers
- Ensuring that all customer agreements are recorded and applied
Who are we looking for?
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages
- Good command of English language and another European language
- Customer oriented
- Experience in a similar role
- Commutes by public transport (parking is not available)
- Right to live and work in Netherlands
- After training there is possibility to work 2 days from home (not fixed days)
